Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just got stuck on Wightman road as a giant articulated lorry (Nordic something) did a ninety-nine point turn trying to get out of Cavendish Road without smashing into the bollards, the little tree on the pavement or the front wall of some poor person's house. Surely these huge lorries shouldn't be going up and down the Ladder roads or Wightman?

They absolutely shouldn't!  There is a weight limit at the bridge at Alroy Road and more enforcement has been promised but there are still too many heavy lorries thundering down Wightman Road, shaking residents and houses to pieces!

Did you by any chance get the name of the company this particular lorry belonged to?  Its a good idea to ring the companies concerned and make them aware that their lorries shouldn't be using this road.

In any case the issue has been raised with the borough commander and I'll be taking it up again with the local safer neighbourhood police team.

I saw this too as I was rushing past, I am quite amazed the driver managed the turn without bashing anything. I think the lorry was from Nordic Transport http://www.nordictransportgroup.dk/ but can't be 100% sure.
