Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I came across the following article in the Telegraph yesterday and thought it was a bit OTT to be honest:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/9674764/DNA...

"A parish council has proposed plans to use DNA testing on dog waste in a bid to catch owners who allow their pets to soil the pavement."

And then of course this morning I stepped in a poo on my way to work!!

BTW Hugh, is it possible to do polls on HoL?

I can't say I like the idea of "buried" poo much more! I'm all for DNA sampling domestic cats, who could then be done for fouling in my garden and killing birds.
A woman after my own heart
Cat poo in your beds is not nice but you guys must be dog owners if you are trying to big up poo in the streets as being preferable!
Not at all, I just get frustrated at people ranting about dog poo in the Harringay Passage when some of the same people's cats are happily crapping under my rosemary bush!

If I see my moggy fouling under your bush I'll ask her nicely not to. Maybe the dog owners could do the same in the passage.

If the overall message is "take responsibility for your pets" cat owners don't have a leg to stand on! (I don't have a cat it a dog BTW and I don't hate animals).

Hmmmm
