Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Loads of police on Lausanne Road
Does anyone know what was happening outside the Greek church on Lausanne Road this evening at about 8.30pm? There were lots of police officers including at least 3 police cars and 1 van and a couple of guys on the floor. A couple of police officers were searching front gardens.

It was right opposite my house so I do admit to a bit of curtain twitching (well they were there for a few hours). I couldn't really ascertain what was going on. There were numerous (rather good humoured) young men hanging about, an ambulance and about three police vehicles. I reckon it was something to do with a 50CC motorbike. as there was one that looked a bit crumpled. Probably a collision? The bike was taken away on a recovery van later last night. Do let me know if you find out more - can't help being nosy!
