Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Why don't Selkie Swim School answer their phone ever?
for the last two months, my wife and I have been trying to contact the Selkie Swim School, because we would like our four-year-old to have swimming lessons there.
We have left numerous messages on their answer phone and via their email address, but have not received even an acknowledgement of our interest.
Just before the end of their summer term, I thought I would try to bypass this communications impasse, so went along to one of their lessons. I spoke to Lucinda there who took down my details and said that Karen would ring back. Needless to say, she hasn't.
We have been trying on 07757 727782 and selkieswim@yahoo.com. Does anybody have any alternative means of communicating with them? Or is it that they have gone out of business? (That's the only logical reason I can think of for their utter lack of communication.)

Thanks, Karen. You and my wife are now in contact, so all is well that ends well. Might I suggest, though, that if you cannot reply to emails immediately, you set up some sort of out-of-office message so that people are aware that their messages aren't just disappearing into the ether? Ok thats good - thank you for letting me know.
I hope your patience and perseverance is rewarded and your son makes great progress.
We did invest in a new phone with the very intention of improving our communication - but as I was out of the country it was not possible for me to record a new voicemail greeting - big mistake.
Thank you for your suggestions - certainly an area I can improve upon.
