Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I can't quite stretch to the £1600 price tag for a last-minute ticket but I would like to get out to watch the ceremony ce soir rather than watching it on my meagre-sized TV. Does anyone know any bars/ pubs showing it locally on a big screen?

Thanks in advance

Antonia

Good topic Antonia, here are a few options to start the ball rolling:

1. The BBC's Waltham Big Screen

2. BT London Live in Victoria Park

3. Camden Beach at the Camden Roundhouse

But I don't know any more local than that. C'mon folks what are we missing?

We will be showing it on the big projector screen in the back room of the Salisbury!

Yaay, thanks Nick - can't get much more local than that!

Will you be showing any other events Nick?

We should be showing pretty much all of the olympics (during opening hours).  Also we have finally joined facebook

If you 'like' the page you will get updates on events etc

great, i still haven't been to your pub and keep wanting to so what a great excuse!

I watched it at The Salisbury last night and it was excellent, good crowd but not too crowded.

The Great Northern Railway Tavern in Hornsey has just tweeted:

@TheGNRTavern We will be showing the opening ceremony today on the Big Screen. DJ playing after. Olympic party night! Funk, House and Soul music :-)

Great beer there too!

The Old Dairy at junction of Stroud Green Rd/Crouch Hill will be showing it.
