We have a large sycamore in our garden a bit too close to the house for comfort - so it needs some attention......
Has anyone had a similar problem - it's only about 10ft from the house. So I'm worried about it getting into the roots.
Can anyone recommed a good and reasonable tree surgeon?

Hi,
I use Andy Noakes who is very professional, neat tidy and not unreasonable. His number is 07796332016.
Good luck Dom
I had a similar problem with a sycamore and I used a chap called Edd and his team. They were able to remove it through the house as there was no side access and did a great job of tidying up afterwards. Edd: 07773 698728

tinygardener: @harringayonline the tree amigos based in stoke newington.fantastic and reasonably priced.
urban forestry, very good, they liaise with haringay council as you have to check if your in a conservation area or theres a presevation order, all the legalities basically. They cut down a large leyland pine monstrosity in about half an hour. They are fully insured, if someone turns up with a ladder alarm bells should ring! they should climb up it with a harness. The price will vary slightly depending on access ie how easy it is to remove tree to there little machine that cuts it all up, very efficient. It cost me £430 which is extremely good, the light in my house improved dramatically as did security issue's
08452 502 757 just give them a call they will come out and give a quote.
