Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello all,
I need to get our cat spayed - does anyone have any recommendations for local vets? I did see the post about the Mayhew charity who offered free spaying but they're over in Willesden and I don't have a car.

I like Zasman in Stroud Green. They treated my cat with a blocked bladder really well. I haven't had any experience of them doing spays though so can't comment on that.

Hi there, I also use Zasman. They've got one on Priory Road (Hornsey) in addition to the one in Stroud Green. The Vets are lovely. Also, Harringay Cars (they guys on the corner of St Ann's and Harringay Road) are really good about taking pets to the vet (they've even waited for me in the past when I've just had a quick appointment).

Another vote for Zasman. They neutered my male kitten, and diagnosed a somewhat mysterious illness in his mother. Worth building a relationship with - the vets there I have dealt with have been great, and have never had a problem getting an emergency appointment. They are also willing to deal directly with my pet insurance company, which not all vets are...

Please share your experience with whichever vet you choose, as I need to make an appointment for my new cat in the next few weeks to finish his vaccinations. I also don't drive and live on the ladder. Zasman on Priory Rd sounds promising! :)
