More love for Moka

This evening the blog of a Brixton-based food blogger popped up on my radar with another (should I start saying 'yet another') blog about Cafe Moka.

Kevin and the crew certainly seem to be causing a stir and getting some good PR for the hood. So, more power to their elbow.

Blogger Kathy Salter, writing on her Pinch of Salt blog explained that her friend "lured me up the Piccadilly Line to N4 with talk of brownies. Excellent brownies". Her verdict? "Cafe Moka's brownie passed with two gold stars and a merit - dense, rich, fudgy in the centre and spiked with ginger."

And so they should, they are scrumptious! Although my particular favourite is the mango and coconut cake, 3 gold stars for that one.

It's the chocolate and orange bread and butter pudding for me. And the lunchtime tarts are mummy too.
