Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am about to complete an eight week mindfulness course (my last week next week) and it has been one of the best things I have done.  I cannot praise mindfulness enough; I have gained so many benefits and am determined to keep up the practices once the course has ended.

If any of you are interested in mindfulness or doing a course I would highly recommend the one I am doing:

mindfulness is the basis of buddhist practice, is that how  you got into it, or is it through the psychological services who have cottoned onto how useful it is for their patients- i have been doing this practice for years through the buddhist centre

I got into it after I went to see Ruby Wax's show "Losing it" (Which is brilliant)

~This is the 2nd course I have done and I am looking for further practices as I am determined to keep it inmy life.

I have heard a bit about mindfulness. I would be interested in hearing about the benefits you felt you have gained from the course.

The benefits for me have been that I am more accepting, less stressed and have much more love and joy in my life.  I know it sounds a bit kooky or too good to be true but it is the only thing I have tried that the benefits are so apparent (I have read books, tried other self help courses)

If you were thinking about a course the one I have just completed is a great first step.

All the best
