Podiatrist recommendations
Last weekend I was walking through Paris quite happily with my wife and daughter when suddenly I got what felt like mad cramp in my right foot, and found myself unable to put any weight on the foot at all.
It's continued like that all week.
I had it X-rayed and was simply told that there's nothing broken.
I went to my GP who basically looked a bit stumped and said it was "foot strain exacerbated by degenerative wear and tear" - and recommended rest.
I'm a bit freaked by the whole thing as I'm hobbling round the house off work all week - and want to get a second opinion.
Does anyone know any foot specialists / podiatrists in the area?

There's one at the Laurels Health Centre on St Ann's road. I don't know what they are like though.

Hello, I recently went to the Foot Studio, at the end of Park Road, following a similarly unhelpful exchange with my GP. I only needed one session, and I'm just taking on board the advice I was given so can't tell you about results, but I thought the service was friendly, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. I'd recommend it, for peace of mind, and because they are the experts!
