Calling all Haringey cyclists
Haringey cyclists are invited to adorn their bikes with flowers to recreate the floral bicycle parade that took place in the borough in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain. The parade takes place on Sunday 28 August 2011. Cyclists will be setting off from Bruce Castle Museum at 2pm and heading to the Southbank where they can join other cyclists on a circuit around the Southbank Centre.

Give your bike some flower power and join in the floral bicycle parade around the Southbank Centre. Give your pedals some petals and bring along bicycles, helmets, and clothing ready decorated or get creative at one of the 'decorating stations', being provided in association with Arenaflowers.com.
Cyclists travelling from Haringey are invited to lead the parade from Bruce Castle Museum, starting at 2pm, to the Southbank where they will join other cyclists on a circuit around the Southbank Centre.
Bike decoration stations on The High Street (Level 1 outside Royal Festival Hall) from 2pm till 4pm.
Floral Bicycle Parade starts at 4pm at the Southbank Centre Square doors to Royal Festival Hall.
