Hi Pete, it's both the base, which is pine, and an off White mattress, I've also got a red mattress that can come with as well which makes it more comfy. The bed is currently folded up as we've been having some work done, which makes taking a picture a bit tricky.

if so where abouts do you live would love to come and have look if thats cool?
