Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Tottenham Benefit Gig tickets on sale
Tickets have just been released for the Totenham Benefit Gig. It was put together by Tara at the Totenham Comunity Choir (also due to apear at the Harringay Festival).
In addition to the choir there will be a host of other local artists. The event will raise money for local families and businesses affected by recent events in Tottenham.

Sadly a bit far north for most Tottenham dwellers, it's beyond the North Circular Road. Don't they know people don't go outside their own postcodes these days? Good on them for producing this so quickly but I think this will put off a lot of locals, though it looks like just four stops from Seven Sisters on the train.

Hi Pamish, the first choice venue was indeed in Tottenham but it was not available in the final analysis.
There are a number of buses as well as Silver St being a few stops from Bruce Grove station.
I hope that for such a good cause people will be willing to travel 10 minutes or so to help families and businesses put out of their shops and homes.

I must just add that this has by no means been a solo effort on my part - I just mooted the initial idea on Twitter and Facebook - it would never have taken off without the amazing group of volunteers from across Haringey and Enfield.
