New(?) Arts Venue in Wood Green.

Not heard of it - but had a look at it's website and it seems to have a rather nice South Indiain restaurant attached to it - La Kera. Will definitely give that a go.

No hadn't heard of it. I can see it's in an industrial estate, opp The Chocolate Factory.

The only events there at the moment according to their own menu is 'Music On Mondays'.

I have briefly interviewed the host of Poetry & Poppadums which is held at the Karamel Club on the last Monday of each Month. It sounds like an innovative event - "the country’s only spoken-word gig in an Indian restaurant" no less.

I haven't - but they do seem to have excellent line ups and good food, with tickets not costing a fortune. Its certainly one I would try.

My son went to the opening and says it was a great civilised fun event.
