Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Photo wanted
Has anyone been in Tottenham in the last few days and got a photo of the now demolished Carpet Right store? I would like to send it to my sister who, like me, grew up in Tottenham with that iconic store frontage as part of our memories.
I already have a before, during and after set of photos showing the burnt out shell of the building but would now like the final 'death' of the shop photo after it's demolition.

I have some of the demolition in progress on Wednesday, also today photographed D. Lammy and Keith Vaz in front of the rubble. Just editing now, will upload some when done.

Thanks. I would have liked to have gone down there myself but to tell the truth I was just a wee bit scared of going into that area. (Still am I suppose)

The high road will be opened right though from tomorrow, and the stretch south from Bruce Grove was open today and as busy as ever. Once there are people on the street it becomes safe again. Must admit walking back down the other day at midnight from the carpet shop via the back streets that I don't know was v creepy. But then I made myself think, they are more frightened of me than I am of them...
