Good to see that this story made it into the local paper. The more people that know about this the better. It is such a shame that they're even thinking of closing the Jamboree Hut down. I use it all the time. It is a unique facility which would be sorely missed by a lot of people if it went. I have raised my concerns to the contact you gave us on your original posting. I fear that with the Hut and the Athletics track now both under threat, the Park may slide back into the state of decline we saw it in 10 years ago.
