I hope so too - I have found myself having to cross the road a number of times in the past month just to avoid these four-legged monsters and don't relish the idea of doing so regularly in future.
What is the law regarding (any) dogs off the leash on pavements anyway? I had always though you had to keep them on a lead at all times in the street. This is not being observed and I really, really wish Something Could Be Done about it.
