Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone know what this is?

It's in Newland field, between Campsbourne and the racetrack at Ally Pally. You can't see that it's there when you're on the ground (easily) but Google have spotted it.

An award to John for the most inaccurate HOL title ever. These are crap circles.

Where's Erich von Daniken when you need him?
The HJ picked up the story here. Hilarious!
Ha!
Thank goodness investigative journalism isn't dead, here or in NZ

Isn't it time the Horney Churnal started to acknowledge HOL properly as 'harringayonline on which our uselessly lazy churnalists regularly feed'?

In fairness, OAE, when I've talked to local journalists I've found them neither lazy nor useless. In fact the opposite. But in these dying days of local papers, there simply aren't enough journalists as their jobs have been slashed.

Nor have I ever had a journalist refuse to acknowledge the source of a story on a local website. (Whether on HoL or, say, my Flickr photoblog.) The problem seems to happen at the editorial level.

Perhaps because the local papers are unwilling to  tell paying customers where they can get a service for free?

Took them over a month to pick it up. Must have been a slow news day :-)

Dear John,

Did you know an inflatable Stonehenge is going to placed on your 'Crop Cicle' field this Friday (between 10.30am and 6pm).  Surely, no coincidence and certainly a case for the X Files.

See you in Salisbury later to discus inflatable druids and UFOs.

Steve Mc

it's not drainage ! I saw a UFO i saw that landed there last night, a little green man came out and shouted "harringayonline rules!" then there was a big flash and it was all over... Must stop having a lemsip before bed ;-)
