Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am looking for a good IFA to advise me on pension, investments etc, etc. Anyone got any good recommendations? Hope so.

I second this - preferably for evening (6:30pm)-ish appointments.
John (Field)  sorry I'm not sure what your reply refers too, can you elucidate? Thanks.
I am also looking for a local IFA :)
ok, sorry - I did realise eventually what you meant!
:)

Thanks for the recommendations all, I have gotten in contact, shall see who replies...

OK, don't save for a pension. Buy a house on the Ladder, convert it to flats or rooms or whatever and have the income pay it off. Manage to do this a couple of times and you will be well set up for retirement.

I dealt with a company called Ethical Investorshttp://www.ethicalinvestors.co.uk/ as that's the way I prefer to go. They are based in Stroud, Gloucestershie, but their advisor came to visit me at home. He talked to me for over an hour, arranged a personal pension and gave me the low down on which banks and building societies were OK and which to avoid.
Hi Jeremy,

I've talked to this guy Bruce Nash a couple of times - he helped me find a really good mortgage deal, and what's more all the things he's advised me on so far haven 't actually made him any money as they've been 'direct only' deals. He is in a small business networking group which my dad is in, which is how I found him - and that whole group works on getting each other referrals and providing really excellent customer service so that they get great word of mouth - which I guess this is! His number is 01582 720179 and the website is www.wealth-matters.co.uk

Hope this is helpful!
Thanks for this Katie. Very good recommendation. May well call them.
I do use the site a lot, but hadn't discovered their IFA pages before - so thanks for the tip Will.

I can give you the name of one that I have recommended to countless clients over a period of around 12 years - down to earth and professional.
