Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

With over 20 stalls, the North London Vintage Market will sell a range of vintage stuff. Vintage fabrics, mid century ceramics and homeware, quirky curiosities, clothing, jewellery, books, ephemera etc. The first market will be on Saturday February 12th 2011.

I used to sell those coffee pots in my Saturday job at Woolworths. Depends what you mean by mid-century.

And also hi to Pam - by 'mid-century' we mean this: "Mid-Century modern is an architectural, interior and product design form that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design, architecture, and urban development from roughly 1933 to 1965"

 

Funnily enough, a lot of Woolworths homeware, like the 'Homemaker' range from the 50's, is now very sought after! Although I can imagine this would feel strange if you saw it all first time round ; )

 

I hope you might come down for a look anyway - we'll have all sorts from the early 1900's onwards to hopefully suit all tastes!
