Not all disabilities are visible but...
Is it safe to assume that a team of builders working on a three-storey renovation would not be legitimate users of a disabled parking badge?
I do wonder because this large builders van has been parking in the disabled parking bay on the corner of Woodlands Park and St Anns Rd for several months. They work on the adjacent house to which the bay is presumably assigned and have a blue disabled parking badge displayed prominantly in the windscreen. Because of its size and the position of the parking bay, cars, cycles, and pedestrians exiting Woodlands Park cannot see whether it is safe to do so. It's a game of Russian roulette every time.
None of the builders appear to have a disability. Is there a hidden disability that might allow a builder to justify use of a disabled parking badge? Other than blindness...

It's not neccessarily the driver who holds the blue badge. and, as you say, not all disbilities are visible. Heart conditions, asthma etc.
but still worth getting it checked out. If it's genuine the blue badge holder won't mind, but if its not, ie a son using his mothers badge then he deserves punishment. The genuine holder will also be punished.
Just for your info, not all BB holders are drivers or vehicle owners. the badge is assigned to the person and therefore any vehicle they are travelling in.
