Magic Wand Dry Cleaners
I took a couple of winter coats in for cleaning yesterday and was sad to see a notice saying that Magic Wand are closing. So if you've got anything with them, you'd be wise to collect it before 26th September.

I know that the owner took on the lease of the dry cleaner further south on Grand Parade. He may just be closing this branch and relocating to the larger one. Does the notice give any clues about this?

Yes, you've got it right. They're moving to 59 Grand Parade. And my coats had already been relocated!

Great news they’re not closing. I love Magic Wand. Very friendly and the service is always great. I always take my little repairs there but was particularly impressed when they undertook a job for me last year, replacing a winter coat’s moth-eaten lining with an old kimono. Two old garments recycled into a whole new one. They hadn’t done anything similar but were very game and did a lovely job.
