I wonder if that is the same Rolls that I saw John Lennon pull up at Alexandra Palace, summer '66/'67 ?  He came into the '14 Hour Technicolour Dream' that was underway and I think I recall Yoko Ono was exhibiting. Nice print, bit unusual ?

Well yes gwyn.........bowled over in fact !!  I idolised the man back in the day.  Me and a mate where standing either side of entrance door and he just totally casually walked through, in touching distance !  Oh wow !! Absolute disbelief but shorter than imagined.  So wanted to speak to him but just froze.  I looked across at my mate and embarrassingly mouthed :"Was that HIM" ???  He walked around the hall with his entourage following and I can't remember seeing anyone confront him.  And he left after a while, got into his Rolls parked just outside and off they all went.  I think I read years later that "they" had seen it advertised and thought they'd look in.  Whether or not Yoko was the attraction...........??
