Gospel Centre Food Bank update

Hello,

It's been a whole since our last post. The meeting with donor's did not happen. It is not easy gathering people, though we can look at other ways of communicating. Also, we have been busy meeting demand of our visitors since.

We regularly get 60 plus people a week representing over 200 people. With Haringey Support Fund money we have been able to provide a bit extra for our visitors, though that is at end now.

We have started implementing Information and signposting services which helps to link people to mainly local services that can follow up on pressing issues. To do this we have developed our own resource handbook plus have a number of personal contacts with local services.

We have a need of help us to prepare on a Thursday evening, mainly from 6.30-8pm. If you are interested or want to find out more please contact us on gospelcfoodbank@gmail.com

If you are able to donate then items in need are packets of cereals, boxes of tea bags, tins of meat, dried lentils and pulses and toiletries. Our main drop off times for donations are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-1pm , Thursday evening 6.15-7.45 pm or Saturday morning 9.15-10.15 am.
