I can barely believe that Haringey Council are so naïve as to promote the use of Nextdoor.co.uk in “Haringey People Extra - 10 February 2023”. Could it be that they’re getting a kickback for promoting a data mining company that will commoditise its users—the people Haringey Council should be serving?
Merely a mischievous slur of my own devising (admittedly requiring little imagination), Cem; not to suggest that he’s a prolific landlord, but rather a dig that he’d probably prefer to keep quiet about landlordly activities by doing them in his wife’s name. As (flimsy?) support, I refer to:

Ha. I think the conclusion you've drawn is a safe one, Joe.
Lammy isn't exactly an ideal MP.
Thanks for the explanation.
I received an invitation from them, apparently signed by a neighbour. When I asked her about it, she said she was very angry that they were using her name without permission. That sounds a dodgy practice.
Hugh, the fact that our local council and politicians have taken this attitude to HoL is profoundly depressing and stupid, given that this valuable site has in many ways had to take the place of the collapse of local journalistic media over the last 20 years. Mind you, I get the impression that some of them are fearful and antagonistic to any source of information not completely owned and controlled by them. So yes, their supporting Nextdoor.com is an odd exception.
