Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello, all,

This very friendly cat has been seen along Beresford Road. I wonder if he has got lost, as he seems to be searching. I first encountered him at the front of No 60 (about halfway up) on Monday evening and others have spotted him yesterday at the top of the road.

He is black and white, with black along his back and tail, unusual white tipped ears and white tummy/ legs and yellow eyes.

Does anyone recognise him and know where he lives? If anyone spots him again during the day and has the time, could they get him checked to see if he is microchipped?

Many thanks,

Fiona

Hello, all,

Looking at a previous entry in July, this is the same cat that went missing then (called Sidney, I think?). The owner is Jack's (aka Jenny on HoL) landlady.

Anyway, he is around No 13, Beresford Road, the top end.

Do come and find him!

Hi Fiona,

It’s great to have news of Sidney! We were wondering where he’d got to as he had been missing for the last few days. I’m still away until next week but Jack says if Sidney is there this evening he can come round with the cat carrier (we call it the cage as it’s quite big!) to collect him, at any time that’s convenient.

Best wishes

Jenny

Hello, Jenny,

I will let the people know. It isn’t me who is looking after him, but some neighbours, as I have a very fierce cat who wouldn’t tolerate a strange cat in the house! I have been helping them by giving food/cat carrier/vet details etc and said I would post it here to see if I could track down the owner.

I will be in touch again once I have spoken to my neighbours.

Hello, Jenny,

The last I heard was that he had gone wandering again, though tends to turn up at No 13 for night time cuddles! It might be worth popping over there this evening.

I will try and message you now so that we can exchange phone numbers. It'll be easier to keep you informed of his whereabouts. I am at work at the moment.

Best wishes,

Fiona
