Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Looking for a seaside walk this weekend?

My Folkestone walk is featured today in the Londonist (with directions).

Only 50 minutes by train from London, this is one of my favourites; swimming, great bars, secret fossil beaches and a cliff top walk. The Londonist - Folkestone Walk

Thanks for this. It has headed straight to the top of our Walks To Do list.

We HoL readers must live in one of the best places in London for making quick escapes to beautiful countryside really easily. The Goblin Line from Harringay Green Lanes, Great Northern from Harringay train station, Finsbury Park and St Pancras for Thameslink.

Except it now has horrid imported orange sand.

Thanks, keep them coming. I want to hear more!!!

The sand quality between Clacton abdvthe and the next place is good.

Looks lovely - have been meaning to get to Folkestone for ages. This is good incentive to make a plan!
