Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Little request for help with a computer printer. I bought some toner that doesn't work with my HP P1102w printer which hasn't been used for a long time. I am trying to discover if it's the printer or the toner that is faulty. If anyone has a similar model of printer, would be grateful if I could swap toner cartridges over for a few minutes to find out. Many thanks if you can help. I live in West Green.

Hi Anne. HP now run a more efficient and cheaper program whereby HP monitor your printing and deliver cartridges by mail as when needed so you may never have to run around trying to find the right cartridges. HP monitor your printer virtually and tell YOU when somethings wrong. i've been on the plan for few months and it works smoothly.  hope this helps.   https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/offer.aspx?p=c-instantinkpickaplan

Thanks but the problem is more complex, too much so to explain in initial message - the printer had another fault, now apparently repaired, but in the process it's possible that the software developed some glitch.  I bought another one because it was unrepairable till recently due to the fault having happened in lockdown and then it took ages to find anyone to help with repair. So I don't want more ink for THIS printer unless I can prove it would work with different toner. The toner I bought is correct for the model and fits but came from a recycled toner supplier, v cheap because didn't want to spend much money in case printer itself still faulty. So the extra issue is can I prove to the toner supplier that I deserve my money back! Thanks for your interest anyway.
