Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have just watched the 7 episodes of the Midwich Cuckoos series on Sky Max.  I think the Hospital scenes were filmed at the St Ann's Hospital. I recognized the outside areas, which were by the old Physiotherapy and Day Hospital Departments. They also filmed the small parking area located in front of the old Pharmacy. It brought back pleasant memories.

Do the kids eyes light up?

Yes, a few times. LOL

Pretty sure there was a thread on here about a shoot at the hospital. Possibly last year.

I saw that, but someone said it was a Documentary in 2021.

This is the one I recalled, but different again... https://harringayonline.com/forum/topics/st-annes-hospital-film-set

I am happy they are making use of the Site. I hope the fees are benefitting the Community.

Hi Jane, the filming was last year. I saw some spooky stuff whilst wandering in the site.

Thank you VivY for confirming it. I tried looking online, but the St Ann's Hospital site is not listed in the credits,

That's a shame. St Ann's is listed on a location site which is good for a nebby around https://www.locationhq.co.uk/610509-asylum-hospital-georgian-victor.... I think film buff locations websites may need updating.

I'm glad to hear that the production was good. Most likely the GLA ( as site owners) benefitted from locations fees.

There was another production just before, called Ragdoll, which was  a psychological thriller.

I saw Ragdoll, but didn't realize part of it was filmed on the St. Ann's site.

Yes, filmed in the Stables building - which has s fabulous mezzanine. It is an enclosed section within the Admin building, sadly all due for demolition.

It was filmed a year ago and I snuck in to take photos and some video when they were breaking the set down.

I was told of that they used it for psychiatric ward scenes.
