Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Coach House on Sunnyside Road
Is there anyone who has information, or knows where to get it, of the history of the Victorian Coach House on Sunnyside Road, in the small garage complex, and it's associated Victorian house on Hornsey Lane.

Hi,
Really struggling with layout of pages. Could not find reply to email symbol for ages.
The house I am referring to is on Hornsey Lane on the west corner of Hornsey Lane and Sunnyside gardens. I think it was called Huntingdon house. I cant find the number as restricted by broken femur from going to look.

I take it that you mean this building?
Having checked, I find that I can share something about this building including the 1904 advertisement for sale which specifically mentions the stables. The history of the house was somewhat connected to Wanaganui, a few doors away, when Fanny Franis of Huntingdon, married Waltyer Graves of Wanaganui. See more details, maimly in my comments here.

You will possibly be underwhelmed by images of the Sunnyside/Hornsey Lane junction but I'll post them anyway ;-)

So pleased! Had a look through some other Hornsey Lanes but nearest of a house is Wynnstay, once a private school.

According to an old postcard address, this was at 127 Hornsey Lane which would seem to be about opposite.
