Barring the dress that could be any Sunday between 1946 and 1964 for me... not that I actually attended you understand; just walked, rode and drove past often enough!

agree with you there    although I went to sunday school and was in choir there   plus the scout group in church hall     walked past it every day from effingham road down to get the bus 231/217 , think thats the right numbers,  to bottom of muswell hill then on up to Tolly grammar    Although would quite often walk or run it to save bus fare to buy ciggies ( one or two at a time ) from a local corner shop Once i got to about 14 was no more church but did attend quite a few of the Sat night dances in church hall   Always a live group  and the inevitable fight   Happy days
