Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just come home to find half a dozen black bin bags full of household rubbish on the pavement outside 74 Burgoyne Road. Had a quick root around and found post addressed to Alistair Marsden of 417 Green Lanes. No-one answering the door at 417 Green Lanes. Is this worth reporting to the enforcement officer? And if I move the bags to Green Lanes for collection am I in trouble?

You can contact the council via their out of hours number 020 8348 3148. There may be someine ther who can help. Have you photographed/filmed the rubbish and the items belonging to the owner?
I'd call Haringey Enterprise. They're pretty good at getting things cleared in 24 hrs.
Thanks for your help folks, the out of hours people were very helpful and collected it all very quickly when I pointed out how many cleaning products were in the bags (a fire/hazardous waste risk).
did you show them the envelopes?
At the Gardens Residents Association we recently had a meeting with Brian Ellick who is Team Leader for Enforcement at the council. He has told us that if we have specific intelligence about a dumping incident, we should contact Noshaba Shah, Street Enforcement Support Officer, on 020 8489 5278 or email her at noshaba.shah@haringey.gov.uk. You could cc. the enforcement team at enforcement@haringey.gov.uk. Brian Ellick's contact details are: brian.ellick@haringey.gov.uk; 020 8489 8237
Photograph any evidence you find in situ so that the letter is identifiable. Keep the letter (in a bag if it's unpleasant). PHONE ENFORCEMENT (See above). All those fines (£75 a bag) help keep our Council Tx down! (well, in theory anyway)
