Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Come and join a FREE digital art piece by local Harringay artist Ethan Mechare!

WHERE ARE YOU NOW?

This Monday 15th February local Harringay artist Ethan Mechare is talking to anyone and everyone around the world about 'Belonging' (an important subject in these weird times!) and he'd love to talk to wonderful Harringay people! (That's YOU!)

“Belonging” is the topic of his next 8 hour live art piece “Where Are You Now?”

For 8 hours he'll be completely present on the a Zoom call (let's be honest, it's the best we've got right now!) and each 10 minute session will begin with him asking you "Where Are You Now?" Come on... we want to hear you say "Harringay!"

We've all got a story to tell about Belonging and where we are right now. People need to hear your story!

Register and pop on the call whenever you want from 4pm-Midnight (Harringay time!) on 15 Feb! Raise your hand to talk for 10 minutes or just watch and listen to everyone else’s stories/thoughts. If you’ve never registered before you can here: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_GDsgAGy1R_GMRgZnIRqPUw Register now -  it's free and takes 10seconds!

When was the last time someone gave you their undivided attention for 8 hours? No phone, no social media, no Netflix- no distractions.

Here's how it works:
  1. Your camera and microphone are off when you join, so you can just be a voyeur and watch.
  2. When you are ready to participate (not mandatory but encouraged!) you click "Raise Hand" and you'll join the queue.
  3. When it's your turn Ethan will bring you live onto the call.
  4. Then you talk for 10 minutes. A real conversation, undivided attention, just for you and Ethan talking about Belonging. Bring your story, but he also has excellent questions so the conversation always flows like a rapid river of connection!

He can't wait to see everyone in Harringay there!

As one participant said, about the 'Where Are You Now' project:

"An unexpected foray into the short but intimate minutae of all our ordinary and extraordinary lives!"

P.S. If anyone has any questions about the event, I'm sure Ethan is happy to answer. He is a HoL member of course!
