Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Something in the water?

Has anyone noticed their tap water tasting a little unpleasant in the last few weeks?

We rang the water board to complain and were told that some extra chlorine had been put through the Harringay pipes due to burst mains but that should really have dissipated by now.

Is it a Harringay-wide problem or is it time to start checking the water tank for dead rats?

Your kitchen tap should be directly off the mains, not from the water tank - for just that reason.

Cml, your last question left me staggered. If you're drinking from your tank, take John D's advice and get a real plumber in tomorrow at 8 am.
