Facing trials and challenges at the local food bank

Given the bad weather as well as the movement to tier 2 COVID-19 restrictions we are all facing challenges. Added to personal challenges that many of us are facing, we are grateful for the blessings that you provide by your presence as well as your giving to the Gospel Centre food bank.

We are starting to look at how best we can provide some external cover at the food bank, though know this will take a little while. Also, how we develop our administration so we can function more effectively. The numbers of people coming to our sessions have stabilised. Our stocks are reasonably good, though if you wish to donate we are most in need of cereals (not porridge), standard sized packet rice, baked beans, toiletries such as shampoo and toothpaste as well as hot chocolate.
