At long last - London Marathon in Harringay!

In the first weekend of October I'll be running the 40th London Marathon for CPotential, a local charity supporting children and adults with disabilities.  It's been a tough few months for many of us but for people with disabilities and their carers coping in the Covid era with reduced and in some cases no access to services upon which they depend has been a huge challenge.  All charities have been adversely affected by the pandemic and the postponement of the traditional April Marathon event and I think it is particularly important that we continue to support our local charities whenever we can.  CPotential is based in Hornsey and does some amazing work making a huge difference to people's lives.

As it's a virtual marathon (running IRL but monitored by an app) I get the chance to run it in some of Haringey's many fabulous parks.  It's my first marathon and it will be an unusual one but I'm looking forward to the challenge.
