Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Friends of Alexandra Park are keen to re-start our programme of walks in the park, but we have to stay within guidelines to avoid the spread of coronavirus. We have decided that a look at some of the notable trees in the park is possible while staying safely distanced from each other and the walk leader, so that's what we are going to try:.

Tree walk - Six impressive trees

There are hundreds of different trees in the park, but for these small group, socially-distanced, walks we will look in a little detail at just six of the best.

The walk will last about an hour and it will be restricted to 6 people including the walk leader. People should keep to 2m distance from others on the walk at all times. Masks are not required, but please wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.

We offered 4 initial dates direct to the members, three of which are now fully booked. We have added an extra date which still has space:

Bank Holiday Monday (31 August) at 2:15pm (2 spaces)

as does the one programmed for

Wednesday, 2nd September at 6pm (1 space)

Please book for the walk by sending an email to allyparkn10@gmail.com stating which walk you want to book for, the number of places required and a name and phone number for track and trace purposes.

The starting place for the walk will be in the western end of the park and the precise location will be given on receipt of the booking email.
