I have Talktalk internet, which includes a landline phone
Noticed the other day the land line not working. Can not dial out and rings on caller phone but not house phones
Aware it operates over a BT line, suspect its a exchange issue
As worked for years to the other day. Talktalk stated need to send a engineer at cost to check my equipment. At Cost
On the 888 exchange
Anyone else suffering similar issues ?

Old days are gone,
now, providers use internet cable to provide the telephone landline.
Internet cable down so will your phone line.
I use virgin media before I had separate line to provide the landline but since the new upgrade
they used the back of the hub to connect landline.
Hub down so the landline.
you cannot use a landline to call them nor email them, both are down.
The only access you have to contact them is costly mobile calls.
Turns out the phone post got knocked down by several vehicles
So was reconnected, took several attempts as was pouring of rain and wet causes issues
Got internet back , phone worked then reconnected internet, then phone went down]
Couple of nights later, internet dropped off, pressed internet reset and the phone came back on. Expect it was reset at exchange end
Fingers crossed for continue Service
