The London Wildlife Trust have produced a free and very comprehensive e-book about dragonflies and damselflies in London, including lots of background about their lifecycle & where to find them around London.
The pdf is linked from this page introducing the e-book; apparently there are also some print copies available.
Woodberry down gets a mention, though not Clissold Park, which is where I saw several species today, including I think a Broad Bodied Chaser.

and look out for a copy of Dragonflies of the British Isles, by Cynthia Longfield. A field guide published in 1938 in the Wayside and Woodland series, the precursor to the Observer books. Lots of copies still about, pocket-sized. She had a fascinating life and I can see her striding about in a great biopic.
