Who are the Noise-Makers on Hampden Road?

Who are the people playing absurdly loud music from a sound system on Hampden Road and what can we do about it? I’ve heard a couple of people shout out for it to be turned down but they clearly don’t care. Even with all our windows closed we can hear the music and being on lockdown it is impossible to escape. Has anyone called the police before?

Usually when you call the police on 101 they take details and then tell you to ring the council's noise nuisance team, who will then tell you to contact them online. 101 may send a unti out but not as an urgent call, so it could be 1-2 hours, by which time the nuisances have often sodded off, the same with by the time the noise nuisance team get them, if ever.

If it's a nightly/regular occurance you could try contacting your safer neighbourhood team, and if enough of your neighbours do the same, they might decide to send a car to the area at the times the noise is going on, but that depends if they're working (my former SNT worked part time Mon-Fri, earlies or lates, so they couldn't come around and check things out on any regular basis). The more of you who complain the better; if it's just one person doing it a few times the police may see you as the nuisance!!
