CHANGING A 'BIKE' TYRE
Where's the nearest place to get a 'bike' tyre changed?
Have one of those stupid baby buggies with a flat and am hoping to avoid dragging it to New Stokington or Crouch End tomorrow.
If any pious 'two wheels good' types telling me to do it myself will only compel me to redouble my efforts to injure cyclists as they hurtle past me on the zebra crossings.

Harringey is short of a bike Shop. Try Finsbury Cycles; just South of Finsbury Park tube on the Seven Sisters road.

Hi,
I don't know where exactly you are. Is the bike shop on seven sisters road still there? (It moved from Camden to a clrner near Finsbury Park station but back towards Holloway Road a wee bit). I think the Green Lanes bike shop closed, didn't it? Hope you find somewhere. You don't have a super-keen friendly neighbour who would do it for you, do you? Or maybe you could give a local teenager a few wuid to do it for you? (Hope that's not a variant of the cyclist-endangering suggestion you mentioned!)
