Car break in
Hello,
My mother-in-law's car got broken into this afternoon (in broad daylight!). Any recommendations on places to get car windows replaced asap?

Depends where you are. I had one done at G&N Garage on Wightman road. Quick
and surprisingly cheap.

My car was got into last week - no window broken as the lock is a bit dodgy. They took everything that wasn't nailed down, including my (prescription) driving glasses which are of no value to anyone.

Most insurance companies have deals with Car Glass suppliers
From past experience not All Glasses are correct ones
Scrap Dealers are known to sell Windows
Yes it is a growing problem in the Borough
As Emergency window openers are easy to buy by anyone
As often see glass in kerbs where Windows have been broken into
Joke even if Caught and charged. They will be released on Police Bail and continue their crimes against Motorist. Then in most cases given a suspended Sentence , even for multiple offences
