hello - some of you may have seen my film Blinded by the Light which was released in cinemas last year and is now on download and DVD.
After the film was released I was approached by the Leicester Square Theatre who wanted to know if I wanted to do a live show inspired by the film. Somewhat rashly I said yes which is why I am now doing three nights on March 19, 20 and 21 telling the true story which inspired my film and also talking about the somewhat surreal journey that took me from Luton to Hollywood.. If any of this appeals you can buy tickets on the website below and please feel free to share with anyone else you think might be interested.
It is important to say that non Springsteen fans will not only be tolerated but positively welcomed.

Hi - I saw your film on a flight about 4 weeks ago and really enjoyed it (despite having never really listened to a lot of Springsteen - apologies).
It made me really want to read your book, which I have just finished and enjoyed it even more than the film.
Bought tickets to your show and am really looking to it.....
Tim
thanks so much and it means a lot that you liked the book even more than the film as the book is obviously a purer version of my story and had less hands involved in its creation.
I also have a tiny connection, I licensed the track "Live it Up" by Mental As Anything for the car scene - small world.
I love that song so much, which is why I included it in the script..
Excellent, I thought that might be the case as its your story, but nice to hear that. Sadly the lead singer and composer - Greedy - died suddenly last Christmas. He personally approved the usage so his spirit lives on though your film, nice usage - it's a funny scene in the film.
Cheers Glen
oh its great to know that he personally approved it. I remember watching Crocodile Dundee in the cinema in 1986 I think it was and hearing the song then.
