spacesaver stairs questions
Hi
Has anyone had any spacesaver staircase fitted? I'm having the loft converted into a hobby room and the guys doing it won't fit staircase. As part of their package they just install normal loft pull down ladders. I have seen companies selling spacesaver staircases but they will not fit them, only make/sell them. So I need someone to measure and fit it.

Hi Alex, do your guys doing it have a building control officer / approved inspector on board? If so speak with them first - spacesaver stairs aren't always allowed, they will be able to advise in your situation. They will also be required to sign off the loft conversion works.
I've had good experiences through clients with Dan James Construction and Bracken Lofts - hope that helps. If it's just the stair, Pear Stairs seem to be the go to.
