Skills development Charity that takes faulty electrical equipment for repair

Hello, some years ago I recall a charity was mentioned here that took in faulty electrical items that could be worked on by people looking to develop job skills etc. They came and took a PC and monitor. Does anyone recall their details? Or alternatively know of another equivalent organisation - I have 2 Bush CD/radio players that have just stopped working for no obvious reason but I am reluctant to add to landfill. thanks

Hi think there was a group aimed at youngsters learning a skill in the Hub in Lordship Rec ?  Not sure if it is still going though.
