Please help if you can.
My neighbour has lost her elderly dog.
The dog is brown and white, elderly, and is a Border Collie cross. She is easily recognisable, as she hobbles. She has a deformed front paw.
Her life had an exceedingly rough beginning. She was found abandoned, roaming the streets of an Eastern European country, (believed to be Romania). A dog rescue charity then rescued her brought her to the UK, and she ended up in a very loving home on Ferry Lane Estate, Tottenham, N17, with two kind owners.
Sadly, something spooked her on the 24th September 2018, and while the street door was slightly ajar, she ran out and hasn't been seen since.
If you live in Tottenham; Walthamstow; Edmonton; Wood Green, and especially, if you live on Ferry Lane Estate, Bream Close or Hale Village estate, PLEASE keep an eye out for her.
Owing to her rough beginnings of cruelty and abandonment, she has a fear and mistrust of strangers, so if you do find her, she will be very edgy, so please DON'T attempt to stroke her, as she may snap. Instead, with all precaution, try to loop a leash over her neck, and keep her until her owner comes, or simply call, to let the owner know where you've spotted her.
Her name is MABEL.

Thank you so much.
