One of the most disturbing finds of Operation Naritas successive operation, Operation Tiller, was a torture ‘chamber of horrors’, located in a scruffy bedsit off Green Lanes and protected by a heavily fortified front door. (link). More of the same on Green Lanes then.
It's a joke! Dentists and torture chambers on Green Lanes!
I wonder about that boarded up ex restaurant that is on the left hand side walking down green lanes down from Manor House, quite close to the bridge? It used to be a well-kept restaurant but it's been boarded up for ages. I wonder why it is so difficult to find a replacement?
I heard that the extension work they did caused structural problems, but I imagine they'd have fixed those prior to putting it out to let. If not, that might be the issue. It's certainly unusual for retail premises on Green Lanes in Harringay to go unlet for so long.
