Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am trying to organise a Harringay Online family camping trip; dads, mums and obviously kids welcome. Previous discussion: http://www.harringayonline.com/group/kidsstuff/forum/topics/hol-cam...

There is a great site that has been recommended by me over in Epping Forest:
http://www.debdenhouse.com/Campsite/Campsite.html

It’s not too far and I have provisionally booked Saturday 20th June. You could even go by train/bike from Harringay Green Lanes. Nearest tube is Loughton.

This site allows you to have a campfire which is a must and kids just love cooking marshmallows on the fire, ghost stories and for anyone who can sing (pre Lambrusco) can have a pop too. We can have games etc as there’s quite a bit of space around

Prices are per night:
Adult £7
Child £3.50 (3-16 yrs)
I assume under 3’s are free?

Please let me know and how many, ta.

I'll bring some of the furniture the school's throwing out for the camp fire. :)

Twenty five of us went along this weekend for a HOL camping trip and what a great place and a great time we had. Weather held off thankfully.

Thanks to everyone who came, and especially Hugh (Not THE Hugh !) who brought his guitar and sang campfire songs.

I am sure we'll do it all again soon. Stinking of smoke and camp style aromas, I'm off for a bath : )
Was brilliant Birdy. Thank you for getting us all together for a very relaxing weekend in the outer London countryside .... only 30mins drive from Harringay! Can still taste those toasted marshmallows (once vegetarian apparently).
definitely agree, well done Birdy for organising it!
