Recommended place for dress alterations?

I have a bridesmaid dress that is slightly too long and needs to be taken up. Can anyone recommend somewhere local for alterations? I am considering Magic Wand dry cleaners as they did a good repair on a jacket for me once.

Sew in Crouch End did a great job of curtain shortening.

I always go to the dry cleaners next to Wood Green station. The needlework lady there is Gazel and there's also an older (rather grumpy but gets the job done) man.
