Burglary in Park Road N15 Over New Year
We returned from a New Year break to find that burglars had got in through our back kitchen window. They clearly had a lot of time in the house. They ripped out our alarm. They went through everything upstairs. All jewellery gone, including my wedding jewellery and an antique engagement ring, along with some fairly valueless but highly personal stuff taken. One particular framed very naturalistic painting of Jesus recently brought from my mother 's house after her passing away Reported to the police but they could not tell us when they could come so are coming tomorrow morning as they are so stretched. What a horrible experience, Kathy - it's not good that the police haven't come straight away as there may be clues that would link it to another burglary. Did they break the window to get in? It happened to us a few years ago, so I know how it feels.

Happened to me too on Langham Road - all my jewellery too but I don’t know what else still going through the mess - got through kitchen window... happened around Christmas I think neighbours found out about it... :( sorry for both of us...

So sorry to hear that Julia, it really is horrible and yes, we are still spotting things missing as we go through the mess. Wonder if it was the same lot, sounds like it. Hope you can start to feel better in the house soon, I know we have been feeling very insecure. :( Kathy
